What is our Parents’ Forum?
Our Parents Forum meets once per half term to discuss developments at Clayton Hall Academy. We meet in the Library usually between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on a Wednesday evening and invite members of staff to update parents about activity in their departments. This gives parents/ carers an opportunity to ask questions and forward suggestions which we incorporate in future developments.
Our Parent voice from this forum has been used to support changes in our Behaviour System, assessment, and Reporting System and within Teaching and Learning, to name but a few. It would be lovely to see some new faces alongside our regular attenders.
The remaining parents’ forum meetings for this academic year will be held on
- Wednesday 26th January 2022 (Half Term 3 Meeting) – Focus on Personal Development Curriculum and our Anti-Hate Policy
- Wednesday 30th March 2022 (Half Term 4 Meeting) – Focus on Curriculum
- Wednesday 18th May 2022 (Half Term 5 Meeting) – Focus on Behaviour
- Wednesday 29th June 2022 (Half Term 6 Meeting) – Review of the year
For the time being, we continue to hold our meetings online using Microsoft Teams but should the COVID situation change this, we will let you know.
