International Studies

Being a learner in the International Studies Faculty creates opportunities to have the world opened up to you! We are passionate about the part we play in this – giving you, our students, a ‘toolbox’ brimming over with tools that will support you throughout your entire life journey. As quoted by the great man, Shakespeare, himself:

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts…

Whatever your calling, whether as scientists, engineers, artists, public servants, or parents (but to mention a few!) all of us deserve what’s in this toolbox: critical thinking skills; knowledge of the past and other cultures; an ability to work with and interpret numbers and statistics; and the power of language and speech to help us connect with other humans around the world, reinforcing our cultural experiences and knowledge of the world as a whole.
