Ex-Clayton Student swimming in the Commonwealth Games

Clayton Hall Academy are incredibly proud to announce a recent student of ours, Greg Butler has been selected to represent England at this year’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Greg has been working hard ever since he was 10 years old, is super focused and has finally reached one of his goals: to make a senior squad in a major championship. We wish Greg and his family all the best for the Games. Go smash it, Greg! We are so proud of you and it’s lovely to think that a Commonwealth athlete came to Clayton. Greg is the only Brit to have beaten Adam Peaty in a swimming Gala in the past several years which he did earlier this year in a 200m Breaststroke event.
